I don't think it matters. I think you've made a strong case here in 
the past for not mocking the feelings of others. When you and I had 
our last protracted run-in, you told me that your feelings were 
deeply hurt, and I had *literally no idea* you were hurting, so I 
think it's reasonable to avoid presuming to know what someone else 
is feeling. Also, I think that it's reasonable to avoid the 
rhetorical devices you say you hate, even when you are using them 
against someone you think will not be harmed by them.

(This is an example of why I usually avoid engaging with you here. 
I think you throw tantrums as big as anyone else's, but calling you 
on them usually gets me right where I am.  Maybe I'll learn one day.)
