I've been wondering that very thing myself. I suspect either a Chinese
Government policy towards alt. groups, or a Chinese Government policy
towards "***" groups.
So to test this theory, you need to set up alt.invest.stocks, and
alt.***.invest.stocks.
I'm sure there's a fine science fiction novel to be set in a place where
all the intelligent thoughtful discussion among real humans takes place
via ****ography.
