I've tried an inversion table, though not the chair, and find that a
sup****ted shoulderstand, with a chair, is more comfortable for me and
at least as good a stretch. Shoulderstand without the chair is also
good, but tends to be more work and less of an opening stretch for me.
Sometimes I use the chair, sometimes I don't, depending on how strong
I feel on that day, how tired I am, and how my balance is.

I'm around 200 lbs, somewhat well endowed, and I have balance issues.
Sometimes I use more props for inversions, sometimes less.

On that day, many will say to me, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in
your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works
in your name?" And then will I declare to them, "I never knew you;
depart from me you evildoers." -- Matt 7:20-23, RSV
