I have to admit that you may be onto something with the card thing.  She
likes cards, so I try to keep my eyes open for ones that she'd enjoy.  I
do
the same thing for jewelry and other things that she likes.  Just because
she enjoys them.

We celebrated our 37th anniv last June and have for many years made it a
practice to observe and celebrate Unniversaries and Unbirthdays.  (Those
are
all of the days that aren't an anniversary or birthday.)  As if we needed
an
excuse to celebrate just being together.  :-)
