Reasonable roads, but if you don't drive or don't have a car, you'd
need a lift from the railroad station.

It's a pleasant somewhat rural location, but the attractions are
either the bookshops or the people you're going to be spending time
with. Even if the sheep's-milk-ice-cream shop is still there, while
it was nice ice cream, it's not worth a special trip by itself, more
on the "hey, we're a few blocks away, let's get ice cream."
