That was the idea originally floated, if you read back up the thread.
However, I no longer get a lot of jollies from haunting bookstores, and
I doubt I'm the only bibliophile like that.  (What's to do in Hay-on-Wye
that *isn't* bookstores?)  Moreover, I would suspect that Hay-on-Wye
isn't particularly welcoming of those who are not TABs, and combined with
the travel difficulties, it seems to be a location that would not work
well for an Alt.Polycon.
