Right answer: The book of revelations was writen in Greek. In
Ancient Greek, letters stood in for numbers. The number
666 in the Greek alphabet is a shorthand expression for the
name of the erstwhile Roman emperor.
You can forget the all the mysticism surrounding the name.
Find out who the Emperor was when John wrote the Book of Revelations,
and there is the name of the Beast.
